Spokane Hyperbaric Center is a freestanding hyperbaric oxygen therapy clinic equipped to treat over 65 medical indications.

The center is 2800 square feet, with a spacious waiting room reception area, doctor's office, exam room and conference center. Our large chamber room includes five dressing rooms and 22 private lockers for patient security.

Our state-of-the-art, multi-place chamber is over twenty-nine feet long and eight feet in diameter and can accommodate 12 people. A high resolution color TV camera, along with numerous large chamber view ports, provide constant patient monitoring. Our patients enjoy our in-chamber television for TV or movie viewing. Piped in music can also aid in the pleasure of an ongoing treatment session. Additionally, the large rectangular entry door allows easy wheel chair access.

Dr. Stanek

Karen Stanek, MD, PhD, has served as the Medical Director of the Spokane Hyperbaric Center since its conception in April 2007. She completed medical school at the University of Mississippi and residency at the University of Colorado. Dr. Stanek is board certified in physical medicine and rehabilitation. Her subspecialties include traumatic brain injury, spasticity management, and Hyperbarics. Dr. Stanek also serves in an advisory role at St. Luke's Rehabilitation Institute, serves on the Spokane chapter BIAW board and is the founder if Northwest Medical Rehabilitation.
